I switched to an Android phone and I’ve no regrets
With smartphone users classifying themselves into various phone tribes, which mainly consist of “apple fanboys/fangirls”, “blackberry users” and “Android people”, switching ‘tribes’ is pretty much of a big deal. Basically to sum up a pretty long-winded opening sentence, Im a traitor.
I guess people could slam me for switching sides from Blackberry to Android. But my modus operanti is to do things that give me the best possible benefit (duh, who doesn’t). My blackberry was pretty boring, made more bearable by the twitter app, and it kept hanging on me. Changing to the Samsung Galaxy Note (which was given to me free btw, hehe) was really pretty much a no-brainer considering that: 1. Its like an iPod touch, which I was lusting after, because the Apple apps I wanted were available on the Android app store 2. Camera of way better quality than my bb, proven by today’s pics taken at the birdpark 3. Bigger screen (yezz, all the better to see my messages and games) 4. Well, the phone was free…….
That is not to say that I absolutely hated my bb! I’ll definitely miss the bbm app and the countless of photos that hold many fond memories for me dating back to Jan 2011. At least my bb is now in the hands of my sister and not lying unused at the bottom of my drawer!
To end off this super long post, Im generally impressed with Android operating system and I highly doubt I’ll switch back to using a bb unless unforseen circumstances call for it!! #proudandroidconvert!
